According to Visa eCommerce Consumer Monitor, a survey conducted by The Nielsen Company in an effort to measure online spending behavior of shoppers in six Asian economies (Mainland China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand), Taiwan topped on the list, followed by Mainland China and Malaysia is the 3rd among the countries.
Based on the findings, Malaysians spent on average over RM6,000 shopping online. Most of the online shoppers feel more convenient to shop online than go to an actual store.
