Increase Sales with Up-Selling/Cross-Selling
If your business can effectively reach its existing customer base, it will have the advantage of marketing to those who already know and like your business and its products and services, your business's existing customers are aware that your business can meet their needs and wants, and within a cost structure they accept. But how can your business grow other than costly advertising or a major expansion? The answer is yes. The approach is up-sell/cross-sell your products and services to existing customers. For instance, amazon.com provides a section for buyers to search for similar products or similar products in same categories. This is method of up-selling/cross-selling.
Well, what can MyMall (What is MyMall?) does in scenario of up-sell to existing customers?
“Related” and “Also Buy”
If you are MyMall web admin, you would notice 2 new fields appeared which right above the Save button. This issue of newsletter will mainly discuss on this new features for our potential merchants. What is Related Products does? For instance, scrub facial cleaner and facial foam cleaner, anti-dandruff shampoo and extra moisturize shampoo, spoon and fork, etc. Move on to Also Buy Products, it does the similar functionality as Related Products, but slightly different. Say facial starter pack with toner and moisturizer, shampoo with conditioner or hair spray, CD-Writer with a stack of CD-R, just to mention a few.

To activate this user-friendly setting, please follow the guidelines as below:
- Login to ADMIN home, and click on [Feature product setting] and activate [Related product]


- Up to this point, knowing the PID (Product ID) is critical. To check product’s PID code, simply move your mouse pointer to product picture. Browser’s status bar will display the PID (in this scenario, it is 2).

- Back to the setting, in the column of Related products, just fill up the PID code

when you have done, you will see your related product appear on the below of product page.
